Growing up, my brother and I didn’t have much—not when it came to money, or working vehicles for that matter. Most of the time, our driveway looked more like a makeshift junkyard than a place where people parked reliable transportation. We had more cars sitting than running, and that wasn’t just an inconvenience—it was a way of life. It taught us something early: when one thing breaks, you'd better have a backup, because two is one and one is none. That phrase—usually used in survival circles—wasn't just a saying for us.
