My name is Daisha Delaney and I was born and raised in Georgia. Growing up I couldn’t wait for the holidays to come or just any excuse to be with my Grandmother because it gave me a reason to cook. I was always ecstatic because she would let me assist: I would stand around in awe, passing her the ingredients and asking her, "Grandma what’s this? What’s that? Why do we put that?" She had so much patience and would answer all my questions? She would always let me handle the little jobs. I knew one day I would be able to cook as well as my grandmother. A year after I graduated high school, I went to New York City because I wanted to be in the city of possibility. Picture this a small-town girl in a big city, little did I know the city life would be so expensive and money always tight. Living paycheck to paycheck during this time I met my husband Andrew. I spoke to him about my dreams and for years we would talk about starting a business, but it was just a dream of mines. Finally, we gained the courage and we are taking the big leap the big DREAM that I felt would never come true but is. So, without further ado I give you Daisha’s Natural Delights.
