Our History
Pampered Pets is a family-owned pet salon that offers grooming, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and styling for your furry friends. Pampered Pets was established in 2005 by Sara Myers and her husband Lee. Sara and Lee have 4 pets of their own (two dogs and two cats) and realized they wanted to share their love of pets with the rest of Columbus. Pampered Pets started as a mobile grooming truck and eventually found its permanent home in Gahanna. The pet salon now offers a wide array of services and products so pet owners can truly pamper their pets!
Sara and Lee met while attending Ohio University in Athens and quickly fell in love due to their shared passion for dogs. Sara and Lee both graduated from Ohio University with degrees in environmental science but soon realized they had a strong skillset in pet care and customer service. The couple bought a used food truck and converted it into a mobile grooming truck. The business took off and they came to realize that Pampered Pets was destined for a permanent home. They found the perfect spot on Meadowlark Lane in the retail spot that used to be a Blockbuster video store.
