La bomba was founded in 2015 by Zachary Logue. He spent his high school years in Europe and fell in love with the culture and food. When he returned to the States after high school, he could not find any restaurant that was similar to his experience in Europe. Since then, he founded the restaurant and goes to local farmer’s markets daily to get fresh ingredients. Zach takes pride in keeping the restaurant as authentic to a traditional Spanish Taperia as possible. To do this, he hired a head chef who grew up in Spain. In the past 7 years, Zach has grown the restaurant and has been voted best of Charleston for the past two years. All of the recipes come from our head chef and are done in the traditional way.
